01 · The problem
What we walked into.
A mobile phone repair shop was juggling 15–30 devices at any given moment on paper job cards. Staff knew where each phone probably was. The owner had to call someone to get a weekly revenue number.
02 · What we built
The shape of the system.
A small, focused web app:
Job intake
captures customer, device, fault, quoted price, and estimated ready date.
Status board
shows every device in the shop grouped by state: received, in progress, waiting on parts, ready for pickup.
Revenue view
tallies completed jobs by day, week, and month — no spreadsheet, no reconciliation.
