Big-screen-friendly reveal UI designed for projection
01 · The problem
What we walked into.
Richmond College was running a fundraising raffle with thousands of tickets. The traditional draw-slips-from-a-drum method had problems: slow, hard to project to a large audience, and prone to "was that actually random?" skepticism.
02 · What we built
The shape of the system.
A purpose-built draw app:
Admin
imports tickets and opens a draw window.
Live draw screen
designed for projection — animates the selection of a winner with a cryptographically random pick from the eligible pool.
Audit log
records every draw with timestamp and pool size, so the process is verifiable after the fact.
Delivered and used live at the event — our favourite kind of deadline.
